Please let Anna or Sumayra know before the session if you don’t want to be contacted.\n>> Sessions are for those aged 16+ \n>> We will supply a bike and helmet for you\, but you can bring your own if you’d prefer \n>> There will be other participants on the course who are also there to learn to ride a bike \n>> If weather is adverse\, please check your inbox the morning of the session as we may cancel if it’s really horrible \nFriendly notice! If for any reason your circumstances change and you can no longer join us\, please cancel your slot on EventBrite [this is a single click through your ticket confirmation email] with as much notice as possible and we can give your space to someone else. The size of the groups are extremely limited and although free to you [woohoo!] they come with cost and planning on our part and we love to see all places being enjoyed to their full potential. Thank you.

SUMMARY:Picnic Club: Live Americana Music
DESCRIPTION:Long-running acoustic/ Americana showcase\, now at its new location in Levenshulme\, 7.30pm\, adm free. The artistes: From The Annexe\, Janie Britton\, Silver Train\, and Picnic Area. Admission is free but this is a WE SHALL OVERCOME event and we ask you to bring groceries for the Levenshulme Foodbanks please if you can. Please note: children are allowed if accompanied by an adult. \nThe evening kicks off at 7.30pm with a set from our hosts Picnic Area. The Stockport-based band combine influences of country music\, 60s pop and punk attitude to produce a unique sound of their own. www.reverbnation.com/picnicarea \nWe don’t usually put on cover version acts at the Picnic Club\, but Silver Train are a bit different – they play Americana covers\, and pop covers played in an Americana style. This Stockport duo are guaranteed to get you singing along! http://silvertrainduo.atwebpages.co \nJanie Britton is probably best known for fronting the melodic country rock outfit Skyeladder along with her late husband Paul. She has continued to be a prolific performer across the North West and is likely to play a mixture of numbers from the band’s repertoire along with new compositions. https://soundcloud.com/skye-ladder \nFrom The Annexe are a folk/ Americana collective formed by guitarist Graham Larkin from the much-missed Random Lurchers\, and featuring the wonderfully pure vocals of Karen Heywood. Their music sales go the charity Oasis Relief which provides safe water for people in Zambia. You can hear their excellent album “Life” at From The Annexe – Music
