DESCRIPTION:Join us at the free entry launch night for our next exhibition installation at Station South which ties very nicely into our screenings of this years Tour DeFrance… \nExclusive update : The artist\, Joolze Dymond will be joining us for the launch night and will be hosting a talk from 8pm\, followed by a Q+A! \nWhen there is nothing to remember bar the stories…  \nPhotographs go beyond capturing mere visuals; they freeze moments infused with emotion\, context\, and details that allow viewers to construct their own narratives and stories. The untold stories lie in the gaps between what is shown and what the viewer’s imagination fills in. Untold stories is a collection of cycling images captured by Joolze Dymond over her extensive career as a professional cycling photographer\, each with their own unique story ready to be explored. \nJoolze Dymond\, an internationally acclaimed photographer with over two decades of experience\, has seamlessly blended a lifelong passion for cycling with an innate talent for capturing moments through her lens\, whether that be a DSLR\, drone or camera phone. Her journey is not just about capturing moments; it’s about telling the compelling stories of the cycling world\, one frame at a time. She has captured images from all the major cycling events world wide\, working for a number of World Pro cycling teams and media outlets as well as recording images of world record rides. \nClients have included\, British Cycling\, Cycling UK\, Factor Bikes\, One Pro Cycling\, Endura\, Moviestar\, Otterbox\, Cranked magazine\, MBUK\, Cycling Plus\, MBR\, Hope\, Madison\, Cotic\, Islabikes\, Hot Chillee\, Cure Leukaemia\, Wahoo to name but a few. Begin your biking journey…\nJoin Station South and learn how to cycle – or boost your confidence if you’re new or returning back to cycling.\nWe have a small fleet of bikes\, helmet and a trike available to use for the sessions.\nWhen : Wednesday mornings on multiple dates throughout May\, June\, July\, September + October [book a ticket for each session you would like to attend] \nTime : 10-10.30am and 10.30-11am* \nWhere : Cringle Park 5-a-side football pitch [next to the children’s play area] \n*feel free to book onto both time slots\, although beginners often feel that 30 minutes is long enough when they’re just getting started! \n[BOOKING LINK : CLICK] \n+++++++++++++++\nAnna and Sumayra\, [qualified and super friendly insturctors] will support you through the following: \n>> Introduction to the bike and helmet \n>> Getting on and off the bike \n>> Beginning to scoot on the bike and learning how to brake \n>> Learning to use the pedals \n>> Making the bike go where you want it to [in a large open space] \nFor those who can already ride and would like to progress skills for road training or to boost confidence\, we can also deliver Level 1 of the Bikeability course. \nBoth options are 100% off road and contained within our safe space in the park 🙂 \n+++++++++++++++\n>> This is a Big Bike Revival event for Station South kindly insured and funded by Cycling UK who ask for consent to contact you after the event to ask you a few questions about your cycling habits. DESCRIPTION:Neurowavy Monthly Meet-up \nAn informal meet-up for neurodivergent (wavy) folks \nWhen? \nThird Wednesday of every month. \nDrop in 7-9pm\nNo need to book\, just turn up! \nWho are we? \nWe are Timna (33) and Lauren (39). We connected after being diagnosed with ADHD and immediately saw the value in spending time with other like-minded (wavy) folk who just get it. \nWe wanted to make sure everybody had access to a safe space where they could truly be themselves\, something that didn’t seem to exist locally. \nIn June 2023 we established Neurowavy as a community for neurodivergent folks\, offering a monthly meet-up and ad-hoc events. \nWhat to expect? \nPut simply\, it’s an opportunity to spend a little time with some like-minded folk in a no-pressure setting. Super friendly\, super informal\, super relaxed. No expectations. \nPlease feel very welcome to come on your own – you won’t be the only one (but friends are more than welcome if you’d feel more comfortable that way). \nWhether you have been diagnosed or suspect you are neurodivergent (ADHD\, ASD\, etc.) this is a safe space for you! \nWhere to find us? \nFind us in the Viewing Platform (hang a left from the main bar). \nTheres a handy walkthrough on our Instagram @neurowavy if you’re new to Station South. \nIf it’s your first time attending one of our meet-ups\, we’ll have some tables reserved so just look out for our branding.
