DESCRIPTION:Join us at the free entry launch night for our next exhibition installation at Station South which ties very nicely into our screenings of this years Tour DeFrance… \nExclusive update : The artist\, Joolze Dymond will be joining us for the launch night and will be hosting a talk from 8pm\, followed by a Q+A! \nWhen there is nothing to remember bar the stories…  \nPhotographs go beyond capturing mere visuals; they freeze moments infused with emotion\, context\, and details that allow viewers to construct their own narratives and stories. The untold stories lie in the gaps between what is shown and what the viewer’s imagination fills in. Untold stories is a collection of cycling images captured by Joolze Dymond over her extensive career as a professional cycling photographer\, each with their own unique story ready to be explored. \nJoolze Dymond\, an internationally acclaimed photographer with over two decades of experience\, has seamlessly blended a lifelong passion for cycling with an innate talent for capturing moments through her lens\, whether that be a DSLR\, drone or camera phone. Her journey is not just about capturing moments; it’s about telling the compelling stories of the cycling world\, one frame at a time. She has captured images from all the major cycling events world wide\, working for a number of World Pro cycling teams and media outlets as well as recording images of world record rides. \nClients have included\, British Cycling\, Cycling UK\, Factor Bikes\, One Pro Cycling\, Endura\, Moviestar\, Otterbox\, Cranked magazine\, MBUK\, Cycling Plus\, MBR\, Hope\, Madison\, Cotic\, Islabikes\, Hot Chillee\, Cure Leukaemia\, Wahoo to name but a few. DESCRIPTION:𝗟𝗲 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗱𝗲 𝗙𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗼𝘄𝗻! \n🇫🇷🚲☀️🇫🇷🚲☀️🇫🇷🚲☀️🇫🇷🚲☀️ \n[Sort of] \nWe’re showing some key stages of the most celebrated bike race in the world\, right on our sunshine [☀️🤞 ] terrace here at Station South! \nSee below for the timetable of our screened stages. We are adding layers of cycling joy by hosting themed Club rides to celebrate some of the stages as they unravel before collapsing back to base in time to watch the racing! \n++++ \n19th July | Club Road Ride  \nA big day of alpine climbs at the tour. What better way to celebrate than a set of alpine style climbs! \nWe are off to Marsden for a couple of long climbs. As big as the Tourmalet and Peyrasaude? No. But definitely a decent enough approximation for a Saturday morning in Manchester. \nMeet: Please arrive for the briefing at 08:50\, depart at 09:00 \nDistance: 76km \nElevation: 1126m \nPace: Flat white 26-28kph on the flat. Not on the climbs for sure! \nNon drop\, climbs at own pace. Reasonably fast on this one so we get back in time for stage. \nCafe stop : tbc\, we’ll roll with the group’s vibes. \nReturn : Aim to be back 2pm latest for the stage as there is a watch party! \nRoute : [CLICK]  \nType: Group road ride \n++++ \nAll of these rides are organised via Spond [LINK] or feel free to drop-in to the watch parties and come cheer on the champs together with the Station South Cycling Club from 1pm onwards! DESCRIPTION:Has your bike been hiding away for some time and in need of some love? Or has the sludgy wet winter taken it’s toll on your chain? Are you thinking about picking up the bike after a break and wanting to get it checked over? Or does your steed simply need a bit of love\, amongst good company!? Then this is the drop-in workshop for you!\nJoin us on the Station South terrace for some relaxed bikey spring cleaning using our workstands\, tools and products. Mechanics will be on hand to answer any questions and help you wake up your bikes ahead of a fun summer of cycling..\nDrop-in workshop includes : \n> Chain cleaning station \n> Chain measuring + health check \n> Chain lubing \n> Tyre pressure checks + track pumps at the ready \n> M-Checks [working through all the different components] \n>Bike questions with the expert! Is there a squeak that unsettling\, or a tweak you’re in need of some assistance with – we can help you. \n>Overall bike health checks \nFriendly Notice! This is a drop-in workshop\, with the idea that people work on their own bikes with the guidance and support of our mechanics. Basic tweaks and upkeep is the name of the game\, please don’t expect big fixes or bikes that are in a really bad way to be reinvigorated in these sessions! \nThis is a drop-in session\, so please arrive early to avoid disappointment.
