DESCRIPTION:For the third year running\, Bee Pedal Ready\, Station South and friends are lighting up Manchester’s streets and parks with a moving festival on wheels. It is part of the campaign for safer streets for women and girls. And it’s open to everyone – the more support\, the bigger the impact. Lights Up : volume 3! ✨🚲 \n \nWe’ll run feeder rides from across the city so you can ride in together. All routes meet at All Saints Park before our Disco on Wheels takes off\, a night of lights\, music\, and collective energy. We will ride through the city\, reclaiming the night\, and light up the parks on the way to the iconic Victoria Baths for hot food\, brews\, a proper bike party\, and a bespoke cycling exhibition designed by Manchester Metropolitan University ‘s aAH! Magazine. \nCurious what the ride’s like? 👀 Read about last year’s ride and watch the video here!  \n💛 Want to support Lights Up? Donate here! \n[We’ve kept Lights Up free so everyone can take part \, but your support helps us keep it that way. SUMMARY:Whacky Wednesday Gravel Rides
DESCRIPTION:Weekly Friendly Gravel Rides : a.k.a Whacky Wednesdays\nEach week\, we head out to find another cool off-road trail\, tunnel\, bridge or canal path as a group.\nWhacky Wednesdays are casual\, friendly and less technical than our longer weekend gravel rides. We’re usually out for around 2-3 hours and almost always head back to Station South for social drinks after [this is optional of course!]. \n[Meet] >>  Station South Bike Benches \n[When] >>  5.50pm for a 6pm departure \n[Suitable for] >> Confident cyclists* used to riding with a group\, in proximity to water\, on loose gravel and for the time and distance advertised. \n[Bike required] >>  MTB\, gravel\, touring. \n[What to bring] >>  Helmet\, water\, snacks\, clothes for the weather\, spare tube\, front + rear lights \n[Sign Ups] >>  All sign ups and detailed information for our various rides and cycling events are organised through Spond\, which is a platform we use solely for our ‘Pink’ rides. Pink events listed on the website are to hook more people in\, but please make sure you sign up via Spond to join in with these rides.
