DESCRIPTION:Happy Orange Leaves from the Bike Station!\nComing to terms with the end of the summer and approaching dark evenings can be a tough concept for any cylist to handle\, so to help you stay on the saddle through the colder months why not come along to one of our free Autumn Bike Clinics. \nAutumn Bike Clinic Drop-ins\nWednesdays 8th\, 22nd + 29th October \nBike Station [next to Station South] \n10-12noon \nBring yourself and your steed to see the experts where we will offer : \n\nDiagnostic overhaul of your bike\nSmall adjustments if needed\nChain checking : measuring\, cleaning\, lubing\nTyre pressures\nHealth checks\nWinter ready advice and…\nAsk any questions you may have about cycling through the dark months – or biking in general.\nPLUS! A super special treat to help you look after your bike through the wet times.\n\nIf the time slot is full\, come along anyway as we’ll probably be able to fit you in. We suggest arriving early to avoid disappointment – final drop-in 15 mins before the end of the sessions. \nPlease note – we can’t do any large repairs in these sessions but can offer a thorough diagnostics card to take away with you\, should your bike need more work. \nPlease be prepared to wait your turn if we’re busy\, due to the 1:1 nature of the session we want to give each participant some decent input. We connected after being diagnosed with ADHD and immediately saw the value in spending time with other like-minded (wavy) folk who just get it. \nWe wanted to make sure everybody had access to a safe space where they could truly be themselves\, something that didn’t seem to exist locally. \nIn June 2023 we established Neurowavy as a community for neurodivergent folks\, offering a monthly meet-up and ad-hoc events. \nWhat to expect? \nPut simply\, it’s an opportunity to spend a little time with some like-minded folk in a no-pressure setting. Super friendly\, super informal\, super relaxed. A super special treat to help you look after your bike through the wet times.\n\nIf the time slot is full\, come along anyway as we’ll probably be able to fit you in. We suggest arriving early to avoid disappointment – final drop-in 15 mins before the end of the sessions. \nPlease note – we can’t do any large repairs in these sessions but can offer a thorough diagnostics card to take away with you\, should your bike need more work. \nPlease be prepared to wait your turn if we’re busy\, due to the 1:1 nature of the session we want to give each participant some decent input.
