Come Inside For Our Volunteers' Winter Warmer - Sunday 23rd January
What are you doing on Sunday the 23rd of January? How would you like to visit Station South ahead of our grand opening? We fancy a catch up with you!
We’ll be swinging open the doors and dishing up home baked chocolate brownies, chia seed flapjacks, mulling a fruity winter brew along with the classic tea and coffee serve. We want to show you what we’ve been busy doing and involve you in our plans to open up this Spring.
If you’re one of the many good folks that signed up to volunteer with us post crowdfunder vision way back in 2018 (we know, where did the time go!) or your interest might have peaked more recently, we’d like to announce to you it’s time to ‘come on board’ and help us get open.
There’s lots of things we need to do to make it look tip top. Some sprucing up, fixing bits n bobs, building furniture up, decorating, general tidy ups before we welcome everyone to the space. This is a chance to help out with the finishing touches and help us to think about some longer term projects for the building, for the cycle cafe, for the mahoosive garden space and land outside. We’re all ears and want your ideas.

We’ve got a short survey that will help us see what you’d be interested in. It will only take a few mins and will really help us to plan the upcoming sessions to work for everyone.
The next two months will be proper graft. We’re asking for your support to make Station South a place you want to hang out, bring friends and be as proud of the building and the community as we are.
We hope that you - our partners, supporters, advocates, friends and family and folks we haven’t had the pleasure of meeting yet can come along to one of the two Winter Warmer sessions and see what takes your fancy in the volunteering department, no matter how much or little you can do.
