GREEN HUB EVENTS – September & October

As the leaves start to change and the air turns crisp, Station South is excited to welcome you to a series of engaging events this September and October! Whether you’re looking to connect with nature, celebrate the harvest, or join in on some Halloween fun, we have something for everyone.

Here’s what you can look forward to in the coming weeks:

 

September Events:

Levenshulme in Bloom Neighbourhood wander

Date: Thursday Sept 12

Time: 2pm

Come for a walk exploring Levenshulme and some of the community led nature initiatives that are happening all around us. There will be the opportunity to contribute to Levenshulme in Bloom and find out how we can all get involved or have your existing project  join in too.

Harvest Walk    Date: Saturday, September 28     Time: 10:30 AM     Celebrate the bounty of the season with our guided harvest walk. Discover the local flora and fauna as we explore the area and learn about the importance of harvest time. This event is perfect for families and nature lovers alike!

October Events   Woodland Management Session   Date: Tuesday, October 1     Time: 9:30 AM     Join us for a hands-on woodland management session where you can learn about sustainable practices while helping to care for our beautiful natural surroundings.    Help us keep our woodlands thriving while gaining valuable knowledge.   Remember, booking is essential and can be done HERE.

Pumpkin Carving   Date: Thursday, October 31     Time: 5:00 PM     Get creative with our pumpkin carving session! Bring your artistic flair and join us in carving some spooky (or silly) designs.   Please note that there is a small charge for pumpkins, or feel free to BYO Pumpkin (Bring Your Own Pumpkin)!   Booking is essential for this event > HERE   

Pumpkin Parade   Date: Thursday, October 31     Time: 7:00 PM     Join us for our festive Pumpkin Parade! Dress up in your best costumes and bring along your favourite pumpkin or lantern to show off. This is a fun, family-friendly event with no booking required—just come ready to celebrate!   We can’t wait to see you at Station South for these exciting events!
