Cyanotype Print Making Workshop

May 14 @ 6:30 pm - 9:30 pm

Cyanotype is a very simple yet versatile printmaking technique and is one of the oldest alternative photography techniques. In this three-hour Manchester workshop, you will create your own unique, one-of-a-kind prints using the alternative photography process of cyanotype.

To create this effect, we’ll lay photographic negatives printed onto acetate over sensitised paper, and expose it to UV light revealing a completely one-of-a-kind print in a gorgeous cyan-blue colour.

This is a fantastic technique to learn as an introduction to printmaking. Our class is designed for complete beginners so they can get familiar with this rewarding craft and make something they love. Absolutely no previous experience in painting or drawing is necessary to enjoy this fascinating and relaxing workshop.
