Festive Family Forage Ride + Wheel Weaving Workshop

Join us for a pedal, scoot, skip or buggy walk over to Highfield Country Park after school to snip and snap and grapple with some festive greenery – we’ll load it into the bike trailer and make our ways back to the cosy confines of the Station South viewing platform where we can have a play with nature, bike wheels, ribbons and twinkly lights.

You can help make some decorations for Station South or create your own festive hanging to take home or for your bikes, buggies, slings or scooters!

Meet : At the Errwood Road Fallowfield Loop entrance : location [LINK]

Time : 3.15-3.20pm

Ride / stride / scoot route : 1km / ½ mile  up the FLoop to Highfield Country Park

Festive Foraging : 3.30-4pm in the first field to Highfield [next to St. Andrew’s] [LINK] 

To Station South : 4 -5pm for hot juice + workshop

> Please note, all adults must stay with their children at all times

> We will try to scoot + cycle together but if speeds are very different we’ll travel at our own paces and meet at Highfield, forage together and then travel back to Station South in a similar way.

> Please bring snips, scissors + gardening gloves if you have them – please supervise your children with these

> We’ll go ahead in light drizzle but if the weather is really sad then we’ll postpone.
