Maintenance Masterclass with Mary [Brakes]

Brakes, great when they work – really annoying when they start to skew. Or event worse, not working at all! De-mystify the endless quirks and quarms of brakes, in all of their glory with our expert mechanic Mary, in this Masterclass on the beautiful Station South Viewing Platform!

We have complimentary brews to hydrate your learning and some amazing bikey freebies to take away from the session to help you on your way. Not to mention our absolute pro working you through some of the following intricacies of stopping bikes when you need them to.

Masterclass includes :

• Brake Identification. What brake have you got? What does what?
• Why O why are there so many different brakes?
• Name those parts in one!
• How to stop squealing brakes.
• Cable or Fluid? What’s the best disc brake?
• Can you fit different brakes to your bike?
• Cables.
• Pads.
• Disadvantages and advantages of different brakes.
