An exhibition of Manchester of artwork from some of Manchester’s finest vinyl record labels
It’s been said that ‘Manchester kids have the best record collections’ (which is probably quite true!) but its also a well whispered fact that Manchester is home to some outstanding independent record labels.
‘Physical Space – Surface noise’ is an exhibition of vinyl sleeve artwork from some of the finest local homegrown labels where a cottage industry & organic approach is undertaken on each release and where screen printing, hand stamping and various other creative methods are all part of the stunning end results.
The exhibition launches on Thurs 30th May with artwork from releases on labels & screen printers:
There will also be pop up shops from all involved on the launch selling records & various merch as well as back to back DJ’s providing the evening’s soundtrack.
