The evening kicks off at 7.30pm with a set from our hosts Picnic Area. The Stockport-based band combine influences of country music, 60s pop and punk attitude to produce a unique sound of their own. www.reverbnation.com/picnicarea

We don’t usually put on cover version acts at the Picnic Club, but Silver Train are a bit different – they play Americana covers, and pop covers played in an Americana style. This Stockport duo are guaranteed to get you singing along! http://silvertrainduo.atwebpages.co

Janie Britton is probably best known for fronting the melodic country rock outfit Skyeladder along with her late husband Paul. She has continued to be a prolific performer across the North West and is likely to play a mixture of numbers from the band’s repertoire along with new compositions. https://soundcloud.com/skye-ladder

From The Annexe are a folk/ Americana collective formed by guitarist Graham Larkin from the much-missed Random Lurchers, and featuring the wonderfully pure vocals of Karen Heywood. Their music sales go the charity Oasis Relief which provides safe water for people in Zambia. You can hear their excellent album “Life” at From The Annexe – Music
