Pride In Portraits – A Photographic Exhibition by Cansu

August 8 @ 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Free

Pride In Portraits is a visual journey through the lives of Manchester’s queer community. Each photograph by Cansu tells a story of resilience, joy, and individuality, highlighting the rich tapestry of identities that make up our city’s queer landscape.

Set against the backdrop of South Manchester and Levenshulme, these portraits reveal the diverse identities that contribute to the city’s unique queer identity.

“I’ve been passionate about photography for as long as I can remember, captivated by the world and its defining moments. Aspiring to be a storyteller in every sense, I find joy in capturing life’s fleeting instances. Creativity is my driving force, whether through photography, poetry, or any form of artistic expression. With each shot and verse, I aim to celebrate and share the beauty of our diverse world.“ – Cansu
