Kemani Anderson played at the Montreux Jazz Festival this summer as part of Secret Night Gang, of which he is a founding member, lead vocalist and songwriter. Inspired by Donny Hathaway, Al Jarreau, Chaka Khan, Bilal or Prince, the Briton is equally at home in jazz, funk, R&B and soul. Whatever the genre, Kemani’s aspirations and goals are simply to touch people’s souls with the band’s music.
