Station South Sparkle Session with Rainbow Riders

Join the amazing Rainbow Riders and Station South for a late morning and early afternoon of cycle sparkling, disco rides, bike beautifying and p:riding the Levy Pride Parade : WOW!

The first 10 riders on the day can enjoy a free coffee on us, after that there are discounts at the bar whilst you and your wheels enter the Sparkling Station, with glitter, flags and rainbow ribbons at the ready to adorn yourself and your steeds.

We even have the mechanics offering up free expert advice, health checks and tyre inflation services to make sure your bikes purr throughout the day.

We’ll take a chilled celebration ride along the FLoop, over to Debdale – with your fave queer anthems accompanying as we go! We’ll be back in plenty of time to meet the Levy Pride Parade @ 2pm to sing, shout and celebrate on 2 and 3 wheels.

Option to return to Station South for more Pride fun with an amazing DJ line up fronted by Aka Jackie and with other LGBTQ DJs playing + hosted by Queen Bayard..

From 11:30am : Coffee hang [first 10 on us!], Sparkle Station, Bike Beautifying, Bike checks on Rainbow bikes ,final tracks added to our collaborative disco playlist [LINK HERE] if you want to start adding now!

12:30pm : Final sparkles going onto bike, rainbows onto faces

12:45pm : Sparkle Cycle depart for disco ride [this is a 5 mile return trip to Debdale and back, 100% off road, 100% colourful, 100% awesome] Book your place here

13:30-13:45pm : Return back to Levy to find our place in the parade!2pm : Levy Pride Parade on Bikes on the A6! A6? Gay6 more like

6pm : Everyone is welcome back to party @ Station South with LGBTQ DJs playing sweet sounds to take us to sundown and beyond.

• Our rides and community projects are supported by Cycling UK who ask for consent to contact you after the event to ask you a few questions about your cycling habits. Please let Anna know before the ride if you don’t want to be contacted.
• This event has been designed to centre around the LGBTQ+ community, but of course allies and families are more than welcome!
• Adults cycling with children, please keep your kids close to you at all times. We can’t take any resonsibility for lost children. Thank you.
• This ride is not suitable for complete beginners, you need to be able to start, pedal, turn and stop with confidence. Some experience of riding in a group is preferable.
• Every rider is responsible for themselves, we are embracing an easy route with no traffic but please treat one another with care and respect.
