It’s a while away yet but we wanted to clinch our friends and allies – put your summer holidays 2027 on hold because the world’s best female bicycle racers will be swinging by our humble abode at the start of their Grand Départ stages which will be hosted in the UK next year! We’re plotting some seriously cool and celebratory activities in the run up to and of course, on race day itself – watch this space as the year of embracing the Femmes unravels and how you can get involved, but for now : Save the date 31st July 2027 – it’s going off at Station South! 💛💛💛💛
…and why not kick off the Tour de Femmes celebration year right now!?
We are absolutely thrilled to welcome Jenny Holl MBE to Station South on 2nd July for a cozy evening of Q+A. Hosted by the Pink cohort of the Cycling Club, the evening promises an in-depth exploration into what it takes to be the very best in cycling. Come along with any questions and meet the cycling superstar herself! Tickets are free – but hurry, as they’re going fast!
📢 Cycling femmes – your saddle intel is requested! 📢
Yet more proactive plans coming in from Team Pink of the Cycling Club as part of the Tour de Femmes year is that we are hoping to fundraise for and launch a brand new saddle library for women here at the Bike Station, Station South.
To help us understand experiences, barriers and learn progressive ideas to develop the library – please share your thoughts completely anonymously via the survey below.
So many folk have already learnt to cycle with us this Spring, join them in one of our sessions as they continue on throughout the season :
Wednesdays 10-11am in Cringle Park
