Femme Fix Up Fest

March 7 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Join us on Station South’s Viewing Platform (and outside, weather permitting) for a pop-up workshop where anyone identifying as female or non-binary can bring their bikes for quick fixes, adjustments, and expert advice.

Our incredible lineup of pioneering bike mechanics from Manchester includes:

  • Mary Clarke [Station South]
  • Belinda Everett [Bee Pedal Ready]
  • Sumayra Ahmad [Cycle with Sumayra]
  • Samina Jaffri [Joyriders]
  • Naz Khan [Bike It Walk It]
  • Hannah Milton [Bikeright]

No question is too small — our experts will guide you in getting to know your bike better.

Whether it’s checking tyre pressure, adjusting saddle height, fine-tuning brakes and gears, or learning how to do a safety check, we’ve got you covered.

We’ll also chat about riding safely at night, the best gear for unpredictable weather, and how to connect with local women’s cycling groups and activities.

Interested in finding out about what it’s like to be a female bike mechanic? These are the guys to speak to!

Come along and get hands-on with your bike, build your confidence, and celebrate women in cycling!
